Alice Carper Fellabaum

Alice Frances Carper Fellabaum, 95, of Burlington, NC, passed away on February 6, 2025.

Alice was born on October 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Harry Kenton Carper and Arla Frances Murphy Carper of Welch, WV. Alice graduated from Bramuel High School then attended nursing school in Roanoke, VA. She worked 14 months as a registered nurse before entering the United States Air Force Nurse Corp. in San Antonio, TX. She transferred to Maxwell A.F. Base where she met and married a career man. She then moved to Elendor A.F. Base, and later to Almagokda A.F. Base. She retired from nursing in the operating room in Danville VA, after 50 years. Alice was a member of Rock Creek Methodist Church in Snow Camp, NC.

Alice is survived by a grandson, Christopher Barnack (Britny), a granddaughter, Mirinda B. Foster, and her great-grandchildren, Christi Foster, Harper A. King, Jaxon Eli Barnack, and Hunter Ray Barnack. 

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Frances Price.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
